md2 with shadows March 2003

I decided that I needed to write some code that would display models with animation. Quake 2's MD2 format is simple, so I wrote some code to parse and display MD2 files. Now that I had moving models, I simply had to have shadows. So, I implemented stencil shadow volumes. Since I've been playing a lot of Warcraft 3, I wanted to be able to select troops, and move them. The end result:

 

If only these guys were able to attack each other...
