Grocery Store - Morning

A grocery store isle.

Salt and Pepper sit wrapped together in a grocery store shelf.

A store patron is seen walking down the isle.

The patron grabs Salt and Pepper.

Salt and Pepper are tossed into the patron's shopping basket.

The patron exits the isle.

Salt and Pepper are scanned at the check-out counter.

The patron leaves the store with Salt and Pepper in tow.

Restaurant - Day

Close up of Salt and Pepper at their new home (a restaurant). The camera slowly moves out to see a restaraunt patron eating.

Close up of the patron's face. The camera slighty zooms out and tilts down to Salt and Pepper being used on some french fries. During the tilt the action is in slow motion.

Close up of Salt and Pepper as they are being slammed down onto the table. As Salt and Pepper hit the table, salt and pepper fly out of the tops of Salt and Pepper in a climatic fit. The entire shot is in slow motion. Fade to black.

Restaurant - Time Lapse

Close up of Salt and Pepper on a restaurant table. The scene is composed of many shots filmed at both day and night. Each shot only lasts about one half of a second. During the shots, we see Salt and Pepper in various positions. Sometimes Salt is on left side of the shot while at other times Salt is on the right. At other times Salt or Pepper can be seen knocked over. In each shot a different hand is seen taking either Salt or Pepper. Salt and Pepper are always visible at the beginning of each shot. As the time progresses Salt and Pepper visibly degrade.

Close up of Salt and Pepper on a restaurant table. Salt is lying on its side. A patron's hand can be seen grabbing Salt. The hand is seen inspecting Salt. The hand, disgusted, tosses Salt onto the table. The hand exits the shot. Fade to black.

Close up of Salt and Pepper standing up on a restaurant table. Suddenly, a hand grabs and removes Pepper from the shot.

Shot from Salt's perspective. The patron is seen walking to a nearby table.

Shot from Peppers's perspective. The camera is bouncing to simulate the movement of the patron. Salt can be seen left on the table.

Shot from Salt's perspective. The patron sits down at the distant table and places Pepper near the center of the table.

Shot from Peppers's perspective. Pepper looks at Salt. Pepper is at the center of the table.

Shot from Salt's perspective. Salt is looking at Pepper. Trying to get back to its companion, Pepper has moved closer to the edge of his table.

Pepper is seen starting to fall off of the table.

Salt moves closer to the edge of the table. He is contemplating suicide.

Salt is on the edge of the table and is about to jump.

Flashback to Salt and Pepper's "climax."

Salt begins to jump off the table. As the Salt is about to fall, a restaraunt patron grabs Salt.

The patron is seen walking to a table with Salt.
